Chess Camp

For chess enthusiasts and curious minds ready to dive into this brilliant game, our Chess Camp is your winning move! We will cover tactical blows such as pins, forks, skewers and removing the guard. We will also spend time focusing on World Champions, Endgame maneuvers, openings and the 50 deadly checkmates. Puzzles and chess brain teasers will engage students at all playing levels.

Students will participate in a camp tournament where a champion will be crowned! This camp will help keep your brain sharp during the Summer and prepare for the 2025-2026 chess season. Students will be grouped by ability. Program lead by Coach Harold. Between matches, they’ll enjoy WAM classes and outdoor play to recharge and refocus.
